My name is Mrs. Ray and I will be your science teacher for the 2008-2009 school year. I have been teaching for 23 years, the last 10 at Carrington. I was born and raised in Durham, having attended Brogden and Durham High. I graduated from UNC-Greensboro and later went back to school to get my Master’s degree.
My husband and I have two young sons that we love spending time with. We also have a 1 year old golden retriever that keeps us busy. When I have time I like to watch football (Cowboys) and baseball (Braves). I pull for Duke but occassionally will pull for those Tarheels if Duke is not around.
I am looking forward to this school year. I hope that my class will peak your interest in science. Hopefully some of you will become future scientist, CSI’s or doctors.
